"Sweet memory" **Bird is the word"

Hi there everyone!!! How are you?
I was out of town for 4 days, with no internet, so I have a lot of catching up to do!
Today's post is about "Bird is the word" and the new word is...

"MEMORY"

I think this is the most representative word for scrapbooking!
...and this is my creation..a sweet memory from Nefeli's Baptism!

and some close ups...

Of course I used everything from the kit "Victoria Garden" which you can find at "Enjoy Scrapping" among many yummy and economical kits!!!

I decided to make a step by step mini tutorial for this and I would like to hear your thoughts...do you find this helpful? (sorry for the bad photos but I scrap at night!!!LOL)

1. For the background, I used the stamp from the kit and white stazon ink!

2. I just pressed the stamp with my hands instead of using an acrylic base to avoid any peripheral lines.I also dropped some key lime pie glimmer mist here and there...

3. I cut out the patterned paper I chose to use, distressed the edges with the "distrezz it all" and ink the edges with vintage photo distress ink.

4. For the tag I stamped the letters with versamark ink, I heat embossed with UTEE clear and distressed the edges with vintage photo, peeled paint and worn lipstick.

5.You place the papers as you wish and glue them down

6.To make the photo pop out a bit, I used pop dots!

7. Take advantage of the flowers on your patterned papers! They look beautiful! Just trace them with a scissor.
8.To give shine to your flowers, you can add stickles or any kind of glitter!!!

9. And a little tip! You can temporarily glue your letters on an acetate piece(I used the packaging of the flourish bling) and move it around to see where exactly you wish your title to go!

I hope you enjoyed my looong post today!

Please make sure to visit and play along at "Bird is the word" because you could win a whole "Tidbitz in time" kit!!!
Have fun and Enjoy Scrapping!!!

"We love our bikes" *BITW*

Hello everyone!

I hope you had a great weekend! I was out of town for three days and visited some family!
As it is the middle of the month, There is a new word for you to use at "Bird is the word"

"LOVE"

One of my favorite words ever! There are so many ways to use that word..however I decided to use it a bit different than usual... Instead of a layout about my love for the children or the love for my DH, I made one to express the love my children have for their bikes! It was the perfect opportunity to use this new yummy kit from "Enjoy Scrapping"! Consider this as a sneak peek as the shop is closed at the moment but it will be available soon!!!

I am entering "The paper variety" challenge for using threads!
I used this sketch from "Sketchy Thursdays" although I did not follow the rules. I did not notice them (LOL) because I was SO much inspired and excited about the sketch when I saw it.....grrr

SO...I am sure that everyone must be inspired by the word "LOVE" but if you need more inspiration, you should head on over to "BITW" to see what my fellow talented DT members have created and enter your project! You could win a whole kit from "Tidbitz in time"!!!

Have fun everyone and start creating!!!
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog! I appreciate it more than you know!!!
Hugs

**The Scrappiest** #132 "You & Me"

Hello everybody!

Today I will share with you another layout I did using the SOOO romantic "Victorian Garden" kit from Enjoy Scrapping!

I used the sketch #132 by talented Liz Chidester from "The Scrappiest"

Try the sketch and add it to Mr Linky by August 31st and you could be the winner of a $30 gift certificate to Crop Stop!!

"You & Me"

Well..as you can see, I am trying, slowly-slowly, to complete an album with my wedding photos! Whenever I come across a romantic kit with colors that match my photos, I get to work!
The colors are exactly the same as "The Color Room" palette  #70 so I am entering again!

If you haven't  bought "Victorian Garden" kit already, you should hurry up as there are only 5 left!!! Trust me, you will not regret it! It is full of beautiful embellishments and good value for money!!!

The extra products I used are the orange flowers that my DEAR talented friend Zeffy gave me and that GORGEOUS flower necklace :

And I also used my latest favorite tool:
The results using this tool are AMAZING!!!! I love it!

Thank you for visiting my blog!
I hope I was able to inspire you a little bit and that you will give this sketch a try!
Take care and Enjoy Scrapping!!!

"Our Dance" - Enjoy Scrapping

Hello my dear friends!

I had the LUCK to be given the beautiful kit "Victorian Garden" by Enjoy scrapping to work with this month!
I say "luck" because it is SO romantic with beautiful colors and lovely embellies!!!

I've said it before but I will say it again! To all of you that just started this creative hobby, the best advice I can give you is to work with kits! Kits have everything you need inside, already picked up and coordinated for you!! This way you save time and money! BELIEVE ME! When I first started gathering supplies, I bought anything I liked and then I was just looking at them...I could not use them together...so frustrating!

So here is a layout I made with a few photos from my wedding night...a touching memory!

I have kept this one simple.
Everything I used is included in the kit apart from the transparent leaves and the small chipboard butterfly that  was kindly sent to me by "Imaginarium Designs" who is sponsoring all the "OUAS" DT!!!

I have also used 3 glimmer mists:
Suede
I LOVE these colors!!!!

My layout is based on sketch from "Sketchabilities" and
I also used a tag and a journaling spot so I can enter the challenge at "Scrapbookers Anonymous".
Color palette TCR #70

Why don't you give them a try too?

Now...as promised...a few photos from my vacation on Samos!

Nefeli...

 Ioli....
 Ioli....
 Nefeli....
 Ioli....
 Awwww.....
 Ioli and me....

Thank you for visiting!
Have a nice creative day!!!
xoxo
