"On stage" - Scrapmatts

Hello my friends!!
I've been so busy lately and didn't have time to post..pfff...

I made this layout for Scrapmatts using their GORGEOUS chipboard! We were asked to make a monochromatic layout so I chose hmmm...teal/turqoise/blue from the photos!! I love these colors! SOOO fresh!!

My DD Nefeli had a role at the kindergarten's play of "Paplomatou" a fairytale that I don't know of the English title...

"On Stage"

For this layout I have used CB6011 Ornate frame, CB5101 Flags02, CB1198 Words06, CB5021 shapes 07.
To paint the banner and the star I used white texture effect by Martha Stuart and mists! The frame was covered with gesso and then mists!

And my altered project for this month is a frame which looked like this...

And turned into this:

Materials used: CB1016 Bird cage01, CB1188 birds06, CB1020 borders03, CB2021 Vines02, CB4009 butterflies02, CB6071 words07
To paint the title, cage and butterfly I used:

And for the crackle effect I used Martha Stewart weather crackle.

Thanks for visiting me!!!
Hugs!!xx

"Spring has sprung" - Green Tara

"Spring Has Sprung"

This layout was made for "Scrapbook magazine" and it had the theme
"Spring". In my part of the world, spring has sprung!!!

For this background, I have used some Scrapmatts chipboard butterflies
as a mask and sprayed with various colours!! I cut the white cardstock about an inch (2cm) all around and placed it in the middle of the patterned paper. I placed a stencil and applied gesso over it. I sprayed and splashed here and there. I cut the paper into strips and created a banner. After that, I just placed the photos and started building the clusters around them!

Some tips:
1) When your patterned paper is too busy, use white cardstock to soften the colours of your composition! Don’t let the rest of your paper go wasted, cut off the middle piece that doesn’t show and use it to make photo mats or embellishments (like the banner for instance)
2) To attach the banner strips to the twine, fold the top over the twine and use a stapler.
3) Always paint your chipboard white before adding colour! It will show better!

4) If you don’t have a stencil, use your chipboard pieces as a mask like I did with the butterfly

5) If you don’t have a spatula, use an old credit card.

The pink flower is handmade, all the rest are Green Tara!!
Yellow pincushion, white primula, pink cherry
blossom and skeleton leaves!!

The cute buttons, twine, doilies and fabric flower are Purple Pumpkin!!!

And of course, daisies are number one spring flowers!!
You can also see one more white primula, a pink rose
and some more skeleton leaves!!

Materials used:
Papers: Crate (Emma’s shoppe),
Cardstock: Alyssiane
Flowers: Green Tara
Handmade Embellishments (fabric flower, buttons, doily, twine): Purple Pumpkin
Chipboard: Scrapmatts
Mists: Tattered Angels (starfish, key lime pie) – Dylusions (fresh lime, lemon zest, bubblegum pink)
Sticker: Echo Park (springtime)
Paint: Smooches
Zutter: Distrezz it all
Gems, gauze, 3d foam adhesive (unknown)

"All grown up" - Green Tara & Studio75 papers!!

"All Grown Up"
*Sketch by Nadia Cannizzo for OUAS!!

Hello my friends!
This layout is all about the friendship between my little girls and my
Godchild Andriana! They've known each other since they were
born and they feel like sisters!

All papers used for this layout are Studio75 from Poland!!!
I love their designs and the quality of the paper! So heavy and strong!!!
Perfect for mixed media!!!

To create the background, I have used two stencils and texture paste.
I then used orange and light blue chalk inks as well as some
glimmer mists to give colour! I have also stamped randomly around
 the page with background stamps.

My cluster is full of Green Tara goodies with the Wild rose flowers
being the stars! I have also used a white pincushion flower,
rose, a few lace flowers and four gorgeous orange skeleton leaves!!!

I have also used a cute little flair button with tiny hearts from Purple Pumpkin!

The light blue doily and the orange resin are from Purple Pumpkin!

Materials used:
Papers & chipboard house: Studio 75
Flowers & leaves: Green Tara
Flair button, doily, resin, washi tape: Purple Pumpkin
Stensils: Prima
Texture paste: Deco Art
Stamps: Glitz
inks: Ranger distress inks

"On A Roll" - GDT for Crazy Monday kits!!!!!!!

Hello everyone!!!

I had a great email last month saying that I would be the guest designer for "Crazy Monday Kits"!!!
I was really excited as I LOOOOOOVE working with kits!!! It is challenging because you can use very few "non kit" stuff things and make the most out of the kit stuff!! However, everything is coordinated and that makes it so easy and inspiring to create!!

This is what the kit looks like: Gorgeous!!!!!!!!!!!!

and the add-on:

2-IMG_0566

This is the 1st layout that I made:

"On a roll"
 (sketch by Emma Stafrace)

I started by adding texture paste using a stencil. I then stamp around randomly and splash some mist. I used a glass to trace the circles with a pencil and I used the sew easy tool to stitch. The letters were colored with pink glimmer glaze and stickles.

Thank you for visiting!!!
Have a nice day!!

"You & me" - Scrapfriends May sketch challenge

Hello my friends!!!
Have a wonderful May!!!

It is my favorite time of the year because the temperature here in Greece is not too hot and not too cold...it has the perfect balance!!

May is here and there is a new sketch for you to play with at Scrapfriends!!!

I hardly scrap photos of my DH as he doesn't like being photographed but I really love these two with Nefeli! Just look at her face expression!! Too cute!!

 "You & me"

This layout is not overloaded with embellies as I usually do but there were too many colors so I decided to keep it simple!!

As you see below, I was out of "m" so I used two "n" and instead of "e" I used the number "3" upside down...The cute pink doily is Purple Pumpkin!!

Some Purple Pumpkin tickets and washi tape...

Materials used:
Papers: Bo Bunny
Cardstock: Bazzill
Sticker letters: American Crafts
Stamps: Sassafras Lass
Mists: Tattered Angels
Washi Tape: Freckled fawn, Purple Pumpkin
